From 2010-2019, the legendary Dark Harbor Halloween event captivated the residents of Long Beach and beyond until the COVID-19 pandemic and ship renovations caused the event to come to a pause. Now, for the first time in four years, The Spirits Rise once again at The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor!
Dark Harbor is a massive Halloween festival that takes place on The Queen Mary and surrounding harbor. This year’s event will feature haunted mazes, live entertainment, themed bars and lounges, experiences on-board the ship, festive eats and treats and, of course, the return of well known icons like the Captain, Ringmaster and Scary Mary. 2024 attraction details will be released in the coming months and will include both fan favorites from the past as well as many new surprises.
The Bernal Scream
After seven long years, The Bernal Scream is making it's triumphant return to the Bay Area. Father and son duo Mike and Abel Barrera, started The Bernal Scream as a free show in their backyard in 2013. Over the next couple years The Bernal Scream would see thousands of people, countless of terrifying scares, TV news coverage, and endless online articles
With this on going building of success it was finally time to take The Bernal Scream out of their backyard and into the commercial spot light. In 2016 the father and son duo had managed to cement its name as one of the Bay Area's premier commercial haunted attractions. Their breakout show “Satan's Revenge” would raise the bar and instill a new kind of fear. Thousands more would turn out that year to experience this special show for themselves. Following their success in 2016, the duo would take some time off to spend time as a family
However during that period, their lives would change forever when Father/Co-Founder Abel Barrera was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer. The passing of their father ( Co-Founder) Abel Barrera would rock the family down to the core. Prior to Abel Barrera's passing, The duo would spend their remaining time together building for what should have been the next haunted attraction. It was the duos dream to see the return of The Bernal Scream haunted house
Since the passing of Co-Founder (Abel barrera) and with his blessing, Son (Mike Barrera) has continued on the dream of finishing what the duo started together all those years ago. Sacramento’s favorite haunted house will be back once again for it’s 17th season of screams! Four immersive haunts, all tied together with a terrifying storyline. Experience the undead west at the Mineshaft, a huge three story building with a mysterious past

From 2010-2019, the legendary Dark Harbor Halloween event captivated the residents of Long Beach and beyond until the COVID-19 pandemic and ship renovations caused the event to come to a pause. Now, for the first time in four years, The Spirits Rise once again at The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor!
Dark Harbor is a massive Halloween festival that takes place on The Queen Mary and surrounding harbor. This year’s event will feature haunted mazes, live entertainment, themed bars and lounges, experiences on-board the ship, festive eats and treats and, of course, the return of well known icons like the Captain, Ringmaster and Scary Mary. 2024 attraction details will be released in the coming months and will include both fan favorites from the past as well as many new surprises.

From 2010-2019, the legendary Dark Harbor Halloween event captivated the residents of Long Beach and beyond until the COVID-19 pandemic and ship renovations caused the event to come to a pause. Now, for the first time in four years, The Spirits Rise once again at The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor!
Dark Harbor is a massive Halloween festival that takes place on The Queen Mary and surrounding harbor. This year’s event will feature haunted mazes, live entertainment, themed bars and lounges, experiences on-board the ship, festive eats and treats and, of course, the return of well known icons like the Captain, Ringmaster and Scary Mary. 2024 attraction details will be released in the coming months and will include both fan favorites from the past as well as many new surprises.

The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor Returns to Long Beach for 2024 Halloween Season after a Multi-Year Hiatus, The Notoriously Haunted Queen Mary Brings Back Fan-Favorite Halloween Event
Named one of the Top 10 Most Haunted Places in America by Time Magazine, The Queen Mary has become synonymous with ghost sightings, scares, and paranormal activity in Southern California. From 2010-2019, the legendary Dark Harbor Halloween event captivated the residents of Long Beach and beyond until the COVID-19 pandemic and ship renovations caused the event to come to a pause. Now, for the first time in four years, The Spirits Rise once again at The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor!
Dark Harbor is a massive Halloween festival that takes place on The Queen Mary and surrounding harbor. This year’s event will feature haunted mazes, live entertainment, themed bars and lounges, experiences on-board the ship, festive eats and treats and, of course, the return of well known icons like the Captain, Ringmaster and Scary Mary. 2024 attraction details will be released in the coming months and will include both fan favorites from the past as well as many new surprises.

From 2010-2019, the legendary Dark Harbor Halloween event captivated the residents of Long Beach and beyond until the COVID-19 pandemic and ship renovations caused the event to come to a pause. Now, for the first time in four years, The Spirits Rise once again at The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor!
Dark Harbor is a massive Halloween festival that takes place on The Queen Mary and surrounding harbor. This year’s event will feature haunted mazes, live entertainment, themed bars and lounges, experiences on-board the ship, festive eats and treats and, of course, the return of well known icons like the Captain, Ringmaster and Scary Mary. 2024 attraction details will be released in the coming months and will include both fan favorites from the past as well as many new surprises.

The first gauntlet to survive is the 3,500 square foot eXperiment Maze; featuring Little Dead Rising Hood and all her fellow fairy tale freaks. The collection of creepy Carnies, Crew and Clowns along with the unsavory Performers and Freaks invite you into their timeworn vintage world of traveling and amusing. Their souls left them long ago... but the show must go on!
The Carnival style Midway opens at 6:30 pm with Great Food, a Full Bar, Freak Shows, weird Carnival Games, music and strange people and things. Be Aware - This is Not a child friendly event due to objectionable elements done in bad taste. Entry will be limited to age 14 and older. The single haunted attraction trip through Circus and Carnival life under and outside the big-top begins at Dark.
