Andrzej Żuławski's ‘Possession’ is getting the remake treatment from Parker Finn

Isabelle Adjani gave a star-studded performance in the 1981 horror film ‘Possession’ that has been talked about for over 40 years now and for good reason.

Now, Parker Finn (Laura Hasn’t Slept) is directing, writing, and producing a remake of the film with Margaret Qualley and Callum Turner! Variety revealed the trio on the backlot of Paramount earlier this week.

‘Possession’ is about a woman who starts exhibiting increasingly disturbing behavior after asking her husband for a divorce. Suspicions of infidelity soon give way to something much more sinister.

Are we excited that this beloved film is getting the modern treatment, or are we tired of the countless remakes that never seem to end?
