[HAUNT REVIEW] Castle Dark

Don’t be in the dark about Castle Dark!

It’s been 15 years since Castle Park opened their gates to their annual haunt aptly named Castle Dark.  This “15 Years of Fear” celebration will delight anyone’s inner teenager.  From a variety of 6 uniquely themed haunts, live shows, scare zones, to nighttime miniature golfing, rides and seasonal treats, the time really flies by when you’re having spooky fun. The new live vampire dance show is stunning in its choreography and the dancers are incredibly talented.

It’s a must see if you enjoy sinister entertainment. The scare actors throughout the park are all entirely immersed into their respective characters and give their all when interacting with guests.  The size of the park makes it easy to create lasting memories with the actors who have more time to stop and pose for pictures, sneak up on, talk with, or even dance with you.

The rush typical in a lot of bigger parks is absent in this space and gives you a communal shared experience with other park goers.  Castle Dark delivers all the frightful fun one needs during the fall. 15 years seems to have served the haunt well, it’s definitely not to be missed this season.
