Crystal Lake Nightmares, Los Angeles 2025

“45 Years of killing campers”

Crystal Lake Nightmares in Los Angeles, California, was every Friday the 13th fans' dream!

There were celebrities to meet from Friday the 13th, Friday the 13th Part 2, Friday the 13th Part 3, Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Begining, Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives, Friday the 13th Part 7: The New Blood, Friday the 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan, Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday, Jason X, Freddy VS Jason, and Friday the 13th(2009).

There were also a couple of extra fun celebs added to the guest list, Felissa Rose from Sleepaway Camp and Dave Sheridan from Scary Movie. We had the most amazing time meeting all of the wonderful celebs there from the franchise, but we couldn’t forget about all of the creative vendors set up at the convention, too!

We shopped from Knee High Horror, The Art of Ronny, Marilyn’s Blood and Roses, and Bat’s Hats and Crafts. Also, when you entered the space, there were a couple of fun photo-op setups you could take pictures in front of, which is great for all of us social media/picture-taker lovers.

While you were walking around the convention room with all of the celebs and vendors, you could find cool little collectable cards, each one featuring a different guest at the con. In the end, this was an enjoyable con to attend to help celebrate 45 years of this iconic franchise!

The AZ Spooky Boos

We are The AZ Spooky Boos, a mother-daughter duo who love all things spooky, horror,

Halloween, and more! We mainly cover events in Arizona, but we also venture out to California,

Nevada, and even Kentucky, to enjoy conventions and meet new celebs. Not only do we go to

horror cons, but we also go to in-store signings, local markets, fun weekend events, early movie

screenings, and whatever else may come our way. We became part of the AZ Horror Community

in 2018 after our first-ever convention, and now, years later, we're running a social media

account covering the events. Though we just started our social media journey a little over a year

ago, we have fully embraced being part of the media coverage side and are always up for

attending new events that welcome us. We started as attendees, and now we are covering cons,

markets, and other events for ourselves and Local Haunts!
