[EVENT REVIEW] 2nd annual Halfway to Halloween Festival, Jurupa Valley, California
The 2nd annual Halfway To Halloween Festival brought all the screams and spooky themes to Riverside, CA.
Held in Jurupa Valley, part of Riverside county and the Inland Empire, this festival celebrated the halfway mark to Halloween and featured mini haunted houses, mazes, horror-themed food and treats, spooky vendors, fun photo ops, and even drag performances!
Nestled in Rancho Jurupa Park were over 100 vendors selling spooky Labubu cookies, pumpkin spice lattes, eerie cocktails, Elvira wall art, horror tees, and more! A favorite was a Chucky-themed taco truck where you could sit with Chucky himself!
In addition to vendors, there was a stage for several drag performances with one performer even dressed as Megan. There were also cosplayers and professional scare actors who creeped around the grounds, spooking festival attendees as they roamed around the event.
There was even a nostalgic part to the festival with this totally decked out Ghostbusters car and the iconic The Mystery Machine. These were by far the most fun photo ops there.
It’s a good thing this event was 3 days long Friday-Sunday because there’s a lot to see. We went on a Saturday from 4pm-8pm, but the event kept going on until 11pm. So whether you’re there during the day or night, there’s a little something for everyone. With it also being kid and pet-friendly, this is a perfect way for all to celebrate Halloween all year round in the Riverside area!
