[EVENT REVIEW] Sinister Soiree, Los Angeles, California

Sinister soirée at Bar Lubitsch is a truly fantastic variety show to indulge your every creative appetite all while sitting comfortably dancing and singing along in your chair.  You can even apply to perform if you so wish!  From song to dance to sensational flute, you won’t regret coming to see this one of a kind show.  Burlesque accounted for several of the acts which were original in their material and choreography.

There were a variety of drag performers and singing styles including cowboy blues and fun and funky throwbacks.  The spirits weren’t limited to the merriment of the show, as you could also buy a special $5 shot in a variety of flavors.

The performers and organizers are approachable, welcoming, and kind, making you feel right at home.  One of the main performances was an EP release performed by Cade King aka your Master of Misery who personally interacted with the audience prior to the show showing his down to earth personality balanced with his sparkling stage presence.

The animal theme was truly brought alive by Feral Fetale’s cheeky and titillating teasing. These were just a couple of the amazing performers who made up this animal soirée, but each and every one of them captivated the audience wholeheartedly.  The libations, vibes and personalities filling this venue are unforgettable and will leave you wanting to attend the next sinister soirée on October 18th!  Parking was a breeze and free for a Monday night.  The cost at only $20 a ticket was well worth it.  So come and get together your spooky attire and sinister appetites when the group convenes this fall!
