[EVENT REVIEW] ‘Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight’ 30th anniversary screening
It’s been 30 years since we were graced with ‘Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight’ and what better way to celebrate than by having Todd Masters and Dave Snyder in attendance for a Q&A and screening of the film! Nostalgic Nebula has done numerous screenings over the years, so just last year we attended his massive screening for ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ with a bunch of actors, special fx make-up artists, storyboard artists, writers, and cinematographers. It was an incredible event and when they announced this screening we jumped at the chance to be in attendance.
Todd and Dan had heaps of stories to share about their time on the film, how gross the demons were, what they were supposed to look like and they also shared some trade secrets on what they used to create the demons themselves. They spoke highly about Billy Zane and the entire cast and crew. The set photos where everyone was having a good time goofing off or playing pranks on each other. My personal favorite story was the goo they created for the eyes when the demons got shot the director had to call lunch and no one wanted to go anywhere near their food afterwards because the goo was so grotesque!
If you would like to attend Nostalgic Nebula next screening be sure to follow them on Instagram where they post all their upcoming screenings and events!
