[EVENT REVIEW] The Addams Family , Cerritos, California

Get ready to snap your fingers because the Addams family musical is on tour across the country and abroad!  We were lucky enough to see their show a few weeks ago at the Cerritos Center for Performing Arts.  To say that this show is unique and original is an understatement.  Every song gave us the audience, a unique insight into the hearts and minds of each of the characters. This is especially true of the Addams’ interactions with the rest of society.  

We see a beautiful dichotomy between counterculture and mainstream values with an Addams, family lens.  Each scene is beautifully orchestrated and gives to a strong payoff after the intermission in the second half. If you’re a fan of the show or spooky things in general, you’ll wanna check it out next time it’s in town.  We can’t give away too much but the acting set design, live music, singing, dancing, and general creativity is outstanding. It’s definitely worth the finger snaps.
