Felissa Rose wants to play Aunt Martha in the upcoming ‘Sleepaway Camp’ remake

Our friends Scaredy Cast sat down with Felissa at Days of the Dead Horror convention, and she gave her thoughts on how they can do a remake.

Robert Hiltzik is steadily working on the upcoming ‘Sleepaway Camp’ film, and Felissa wants a piece of that pie! She spoke with Scaredy Cast about how she thinks playing Aunt Martha would be a perfect role for her because she adored Desiree Gould in that titular role.

She also spoke about the infamous ending and how they need to make sure they do it right this time.

“With the new Sleepaway Camp, I feel — given the subject matter —we really need to be tender with it and give it the best reimagining we can.

I feel like it needs to be handled really tenderly and with understanding of our trans community and LGBTQ community; it has to be really done right.”

Felissa has been a supporter of her LGBTQ+ fans, and when they ask her about this movie and how she handled it, she always speaks to them with such love and grace. We would love to see Felissa return in this new film, but only time will tell.
