Five Nights at Freddy’s returns to Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood & Orlando!

The speculation maps were true (sorta), Five Nights at Freddy's is coming to Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando and Hollywood. The question on everyone's mind, though, is what will Five Nights be during the event? There are no details yet, and Horror Nights has made a cryptic post saying more details soon… The number of possibilities is endless, and we have a few theories on what it could be.

With the addition of Fanfest earlier this year, it’s possible we can get an immersive show with five nights characters that would be less costly and could bring in more fans to the event. Naturally, everyone wants FNAF to be a full-fledged house but we can only speculate on what we’ll get.

Another theory we have is the Terror Tram. It’s been rumored that Blumhouse is getting a sequel for The tram and they can easily prop up the animatronics and use them as fun photo-ops for guests to snap a quick photo with and it would also be less costly for the park to produce. The third option is having it be a show inside the Dreamworks Theater and have the animatronics inside the lobby like they did back in 2023.

It’s always exciting when a huge IP comes to Horror Nights but it also brings a little bit of dread because of the amount of children that might be roaming the parks. Halloween Horror Nights should go with the Chaperone route like they do for Knott’s Scary Farm in Buena Park, California.

With bigger IP’s though, there comes the question: are we straying away from original houses and just sticking with what people like to bring in more revenue? That’s how it’s felt the last few years and it makes sense to give guests familiar houses but they should look at outside sources when it comes to bringing in bigger crowds. A lot of haunts go the route of originality and that has helped them for years.

We can, again, look at Knott’s and how they’ve become so successful when it comes to Haunt season. All their houses are original and each year they retire a few and give us brand new houses that guests seem to love. If there were to be a merger at some point in the near future, both parks could both profit, and sustain returning guests to each park.
