Halloween video game coming to PAX East
Evil comes to Boston as IllFonic’s Halloween video game will be playable to the public at PAX East, giving fans the chance to wield Michael’s butcher knife in this new entry to the iconic series.
The demo will debut from March 26-29 at the convention. On March 28, there will be a scheduled panel in the Main Theater at 12 pm that will detail the process of transitioning the 1978 film into an asymmetrical multiplayer experience. A virtual appearance with John Carpenter is also planned to join the conversation.
The playable demo will be available on the show floor for convention attendees. Players can play as Michael or his victims. The Haddonfield Heights map will be the only available map. It will be up to the gamers to decide whether to work together to survive in the residential homes, or direct Michael’s blade into the competition.
Bring your Michael Myers' mask and jumpsuit along because of a scheduled Guinness World Record attempt for the largest gathering of people dressed as Michael Myers on March 28 at 3:30 PM ET. You can join the meet-up without a PAX East badge at the Thomas M. Menino Convention and Exhibition center in Boston.
Halloween will release for PS5, Xbox platforms, and Steam on Sept. 8, 2026.
