Here's a first look at The Warrens final descent into ‘The Conjuring The Final Rite’
Spanning over 12 years of films including sequels, prequels, and spin-offs, The Warrens have been busy with the paranormal. Today, Entertainment Weekly Revealed some first looks at the final Conjuring film set to be released in theaters on September 5th, 2025.
Vera Farmiga & Patrick Wilson have donned the roles of Ed & Lorraine Warren for the past 12 year and it’s going to be bitter sweet when the credits roll and that will be the end of the infamous couple who worked in the paranormal world for over 50 years.
Reported on by EW, The Conjuring: Last Rites is set in 1986, five years after the events of The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. The Warrens are retired at the beginning of the movie, but a new case pulls them back into one final nightmare… as always, together.
The case in question is The famous Smurl family haunting, claims made by Jack and Janet Smurl of West Pittston, Pennsylvania, who alleged that a demon inhabited their home between 1974 and 1989.
