‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ Reboot cast is in the works!

With the talk of remakes, reboots, sequels, prequels, you get it, comes ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ with a brand new cast of kids to get chopped up and spit out by the fisherman… Or maybe something even more sinister.

THR reported earlier today about the upcoming cast for the film…

“Madelyn Cline, star of Neflix’s Outer Banks, and Camila Mendes, who played Veronica on CW’s long-running Riverdale, are in talks to lead the ensemble of Sony Pictures’ reboot of the 1997 horror hit.

Also in negotiations are Tony Award nominee Sarah Pidgeon, Atlanta’s Tyriq Withers and Jonah Hauer -King, who played Prince Eric in Disney’s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.”

No word yet on whether or not Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr will reprise their roles but fans of the franchise hope to see them make the return to the big screen later this year.
