MHP Haunt is hosting an immersive screening/haunt for Carrie’s 50th movie Anniversary!

MHP Haunt is known for its wildly creative haunts, theater experiences, and productions for the last 5 years. They’ve been on the quiet side for the last few years, taking a step back from creating a new haunt experience.

This year, however, they are taking things a step further and giving fans a dual event that is going to be a bloody good time.

On October 9th in Hermosa Beach, California, you can step into a prom that is worth the nightmares. The screening will be held at the Community Center where they filmed the iconic gymnasium scene 50 years ago!

You can dress to impress in your 70’s prom attire, with photo-ops, a live band, and costumes are absolutely encouraged. You will also get to watch the film during your prom night.

Still not convinced? What about a haunt experience on top of that?

Unlock the door into the feverish nightmares of a vengeful prom queen Carrie. As the blood rains, so will the terror as she unleashes the powers of the mind on you once and for all. Wind your way through a maze of the darkest depths of her burning rage and pray you make it out alive.

This event is brought to you by the City of Hermosa Beach with the support of MHP, the South Bay Music Connection, & Hermosa Beach Museum.

Tickets are $10 per person and on sale now but very limited.
