Queen Mary's Dark Harbor unveiled secrets for this years event
Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor held a panel at this year’s Midsummer Scream in its own backyard of Long Beach, California. The panel consisted of members of The 13th Floor Entertainment group and Dark Harbor Team. From The 13th Floor Entertainment Group we had CEO and founding partner of The 13th Floor Entertainment Group Chris Stafford, Production Manager Doug Bailey, Director of Special Projects Bret Bertolino, and Senior Regional Manager Amy Hollaman. From Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor we had General Manager Star Romano joining us on stage.

During this panel we learned about all the mazes, entertainment, and more that is coming to this year’s Dark Harbor. Beginning with our returning mazes; Feast: 2025 will be the final voyage for The Butcher or should I say his “Final Cut.” Step on to the ship to explore the new chapter in The Butcher’s story as well as experience new upgrades and effects that will make you jump out of your skin. Lullaby: the infamous Scary Mary will once again haunt us as we walk through the haunted first class pool, lockers, and beyond as we learn more about her tragic ending. Infirmary: this maze introduces us to the sadistic spirits of Dr. Edwin Masters and his partner til death do them part, Graceful Gale. The spirits of Dr. Edwin Masters and Graceful torment the living with their hauntings of their past horrid procedures. Big Top Terror: come face to face with twisted circus freaks from The Bearded Lady to demented clowns, but be careful, you may just have to face tricky trails to escape this maze. Lastly, Breakout: Maximum Security: step into the shoes of the infamous murderer Samuel the Savage.Walk in his shoes, hear the voices in his head as you try to break out of the Seaside Prison.
This year, we can expect for the Maiden Voyage to come back. Taking place in the newly expanded Shipyard, the Captain will summon the spirits and monsters of the Queen Mary as they come to eat… I mean greet you every night at 8:05 PM. Before you exit the Shipyard, you will have the opportunity to experience the Final Voyage with the Monster Dance Party; this time the Monster Dance Party will turn into a Foam Party! On the main stage you will be able to find the iconic Fire Performers. Also making a comeback will be the Voodoo Drummers and the famous Dark Harbor Sliders!

New experiences we can expect this year will be a brand new maze; Voodoo: The Queens Curse. This year will also be the first time we will have a Dark Harbor season pass! With the Dark Harbor season pass you will be able to return multiple nights during the season to get endless scares. A brand new VIP experience will also be coming this year; the RIP Tour will allow you to have exclusive experiences in this event; from skipping the lines to exploring different areas of the ship. Every Sunday, there will be maze appreciation night. Guests will be encouraged to pay homage to the maze icons; whether it be a bow for Scary Mary or a top hat for Big Top Terror. Be sure to stop by the red carpet to snap a picture with the icon of the night. One of the biggest announcements to happen was about the brand new Escape Room experience designed for the Queen Mary. For the show, it will be 10 minutes and will eventually open up to an hour.

Themed nights will also be making a return. Last year we got a taste of themed nights with Pride Night and Dia de Los Muertos Night. Joining the line up, guests will have the opportunity to attend the Undead Slumber Party Night where you can stay up past your bedtime and party with your jammies. For all the fire lovers, there will be a Pyro Night. Haunt Couture Night: Dapper Day is a night where you will have the opportunity to dress in era appropriate attire where you can feel hauntingly aligned with the spirits. Lastly for all boils and ghouls who love wearing black, Black Tide: Goth Night.
Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor 2025 is shaping up to be one of the biggest haunts this season. Will you be joining the spirits of Dark Harbor?
