'Scream' fan film from A63 Pictures is in production, and they need your help with funding!

Fan films have been on the rise, and they scratch that itch we have when it comes to our favorite horror franchises not delivering on kills or good characters, or even a good story.
That’s where A63 pictures come in. They are looking to fund their next fan film based on everyone’s favorite clumsy killer, Ghostface. We spoke with A63 about how we could help, and they sent over all the gory details along with some photos to get us hyped!
The creative team behind HALLOWEEN AFTERMATH has officially launch the funding campaign via Ko-Fi for their next ambitious project: SCREAM DESCENT, inviting horror fans around the world to help bring this ambitious, feature-length fan film to life.
Designed as a high-quality homage to the Scream franchise, SCREAM DESCENT blends sharp suspense, brutal tension, and self-aware storytelling with a modern cinematic approach. The project aims to deliver a polished, emotionally grounded slasher experience that respects the legacy of the films while carving out a bold identity of its own.
Produced by A63 Pictures in collaboration with Dark Forest Productions, the film has been in active development with a dedicated creative team, detailed pre-production, and a clear vision for tone, pacing, and visual style. With Principal Photography already underway and over halfway complete, the funding campaign represents the final push needed to elevate the production to its full potential.
Funds raised will directly toward:
Professional-grade production and equipment.
Practical effects, costumes, and signature props.
Location costs and production design.
Physical and digital rewards/perks for supporters.
Backers will have access to a range of exclusive perks, including digital download packs, behind-the-scenes content, physical Blu-ray editions, and Associate or Executive Producer credits, allowing fans to become a genuine part of the film’s journey.
SCREAM DESCENT is made by fans, for fans, We’re not trying to replace or replicate the franchise - we’re honoring it. This campaign allows the community that loves these films as much as we do to help shape something special.
The Campaign went live in February and was a great success - but we're still accepting Perks and supporters to jump in as we still shoot this beast.
