Step inside the world of ‘Coraline’ at Sugarmynt Gallery this month

Beware the Pink Palace art exhibit will showcase local artists of different mediums for the children’s film ‘Coraline’ at Sugarmynt Gallery in Pasadena, California.

Sugarmynt is located RIGHT BEHIND the original Michael Myers house, yes, the actual house they used in John Carpenter’s film ‘Halloween’ and it’s always a treat to stop by, see who’s lurking around and taking photos of the house.

Every month SM put together an art show/exhibit for some of their favorite movies throughout the year and their beloved Michael Myers exhibit will have dates announced shortly.

For this particular event, the show will be geared towards fans of ‘Coraline’ and if you have children 6 and under, they will be admitted into the exhibit for free! Every 7 and up need to buy a ticket for this show. For opening night you can expect the artists in person to talk about their pieces, what format they chose to work in and specialty drinks by Barmaid Beauties as well as the film being shown through the exhibit for the ultimate ambience.

If you want to visit the exhibit on a different night, you can purchase tickets at the door when you arrive. These online tickets are just for opening night and will cost $28. Sugarmynt provided us with some teaser pieces to show off!
