The Last Video Store invites you to a Halloween themed comedy show!
A comedy variety show featuring Sketch, Videos, Trivia, Standup, and a deep unsettling love of movies -- HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR!
The Last Video Store is here to put an end to the streaming wars once and for all. Set in OUTPOST 31, AKA The Last Video Store, the store's employees must fight for their survival.
On October 9th at The Lyric Hyperion, you can experience The Last Video Store. Shop from several spooky vendors throughout the night, speak with a tarot reader and learn what your future has in store. There will also be comic books available during the pre- and post-show!
A comedy show set in the not-so-distant future where the Streaming Wars have wreaked havoc on the movie-loving public.
Their only refuge: a lone brick-and-mortar store in a world gone to hell. Outpost 31, AKA: The Last Video Store.
Join the employees of the Last Video Store as we celebrate all things physical media. What Special guests will arrive to rent and return videotapes? How many Late Fees will the Overnight Returns Box Monster demand? What prizes will we doll out to those weary travelers looking for a break from downloading 40 channels to their Roku and will evil War Lord David Zaslav finally find the location of the store and destroy all its movies?
Be kind, rewind AND get ready for a movie-lovers party at Lyric Hyperion.
Fight the Future (we’re aware that’s the tagline for the X-Files movie.)
The show will feature:
Matt Catanzano (Above Average Productions, Simply Unemployable, Daddy's Home 2, The Last O.G.)
James III (Astronomy Club, All That, Rule of III Productions)
Alyssa Sabo (UCB, Gaslit)
Devon Drew (UCB, Pop Star, Groundlings Sunday Co)
