Updates on ´THEY FOLLOW´ from Maika Monroe gives us hope!

2014 gave us a fresh horror film that tackles STD´s in a way like we´ve never seen before. ´IT FOLLOWS´ is about "A young woman is followed by an unknown supernatural force after a sexual encounter."

With a premise like that things are bound to get weird and David Robert Mitchell delivered. Not only did he create a monster that you can´t ever see but he made an indie horror classic that fans still talk about today!

“Rumors have been spreading that it will be happening,” Maika spoke win an interview.“I would stay positive, because I’ve heard some good news recently.”

She will also return as Jay Height in the upcoming sequel. No other updates have been released.

“It´s not at all what I expected, where you would find Jay, which I thought was really interesting. I was like, ‘Whoa! Cool,’ which I think the audience will probably have a similar reaction.” She adds, “I know this might sound cliché, but it’s staying true to the original where we’re bringing back all the same team… The story is very much still in that space, but it’s just grander. I’m really, really excited for it.”

With all this new information it´s exciting to hear that they are actively working on the film. Neon and Good Fear content will produce.
