AMC Theaters Thrills & Chills brings us classic horror like ‘Evil Dead’, ‘Cabin Fever’, and ‘Cabin in the Woods’

Screen Unseen at AMC theaters has been very popular as of late, and also includes upcoming horror films! You buy a ticket with no knowledge of the title besides the genre of the movie. It’s like being at your local Blockbuster or local video store and picking out a movie to watch on the weekend. It’s a mystery…

A new series has been unveiled called “Relive the Horrors,” and they’re starting with some heavy hitters!

Every Friday night starting April 24th through May 8th, you can rewatch or have a first-time watch of your favorite or new-to-you favorite classic horror films.

Evil Dead’ the 45th anniversary. “In 1979, a group of college students who, during a weekend getaway, find a Sumerian Book of the Dead in an old wilderness cabin they've rented. When they unwittingly unleash evil spirits and demons while reading incantations from the book, that's when the real havoc begins. As each of the kids, one by one, are possessed by the demons they've let loose, body parts and bodily fluids go a-flying until only one young man is left to face down the Evil Dead.”

‘Cabin Fever’ 4K Director’s Cut. “The story is familiar: fresh out of college, a group of five friends retreat to a remote cabin in the woods for one last week of partying-only to become snacks for a gruesome, flesh-eating virus. What's surprising are the ingenious new deaths, which offer a fresh spin on a horror-comedy milestone.”

And finally, ‘Cabin in the Woods’. “While visiting a quaint cabin in the woods, a group of friends scratch the surface of something so massive and horrific that they can only begin to fathom it as time quickly runs out on them.”

Tickets are available now at select AMC theaters.
