BloodRave brings vampiric fun to the dance floor

Getting this messy shouldn’t be this much fun.

If you’re a fan of the Blade franchise or high-energy dance music, then BladeRave might be exactly your style.

The event provided a cohesive vampire-themed atmosphere. The music included a mix of ’90s and 2000s trance alongside goth rock selections such as Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson. The inclusion of the original track by D’Angelo and Francis from the film also connected well to the theme.

The LED visuals, costumes worn by the gogos, and themed beverage service (including the blood bag cocktails) contributed to the overall presentation of the event.

The VIP platform above the dance floor was useful as the main floor became crowded later in the evening. Although the blood sprinklers were advertised, they were not used; this appeared to be a safety decision related to the event being sold out. The DJs instead sprayed the crowd, which served as an alternative during the event.
