Dead Meat is launching a brand new youtube channel 'Dead Meat Games'
For the last decade, Dead Meat has been known for Kill Counts, Podcasts, and “Bastard Skellies!”
Nowadays, you can find James, Chelsea, and Zoran all over the place at Conventions, live streams, and even live shows, but now you can watch them tackle something new… video games!
Polygon broke the news regarding the new channel and the idea behind it all. Dead Meat Games is going to showcase indie horror as well as bigger games like 'Resident Evil.' The first game they’re covering is “Fear The Spotlight.” Zoran raved about this game to Polygon, “It’s a great gateway horror game, a tale of two teens kind of falling in love in a spooky situation in high school. I'm so excited to have that as the premiere episode of season three of Kill Count Games.”
But the channel won’t be for only video game kill counts; you can also find ‘What We Play In The Shadows’, a horror game podcast hosted by Zoran and Gina DeVivo of Critical Role fame! There will also be a ‘Dead Meat Game report’ live stream that is dedicated to video game news, announcements, recent releases, and the development of games. Zoran and Ben Bellevue, a producer of Dead Meat, will also host.
James also talks about how Video Games are a big part of media. “It's undeniable that video games are now the biggest media format in general over TV, over movies, over books, over anything else. And I think there's such an audience there. I think it would be foolish not to tap into that audience, especially with how many good horror games are being made.”
