[EVENT REVIEW] Booze, Bites and Frights: Final Destination Review

This past weekend, Street Food Cinema marked the halfway-to-Halloween point with their Booze, Bites & Frights event at Heritage Square Museum—and it was everything a horror fan could want. Each night featured an outdoor movie screening: Night one showed The Craft, and night two (which I attended) was a special 25th anniversary screening of Final Destination, complete with an intro from director and producer James Wong.

From the moment you walked in, the Halloween vibes were in full swing—it felt like October came early. The bit of rain we got only added to the spooky atmosphere. A haunted trail led the way to a row of awesome local food vendors, offering a little something for everyone.

The entire venue was decked out in Halloween decor: animatronics, lights, fog, and scare actors around every corner. There were also multiple bars serving up themed food and drinks to keep the party going.

Events like this are such a rare treat. There’s nothing like watching your favorite horror films under the stars, surrounded by fellow fans who are just as obsessed with Halloween as you are. If you’re into spooky season and looking for a fun way to celebrate, I can’t recommend this enough.
