[EVENT REVIEW] It's Alive! Market - Hawthorne, California

“It’s Alive!” marketplace was the first horror market with 100% vegan eats. It brought together a great mix of plant-based bites and horror-themed retail therapy. From coffin shaped speakers to creepy dolls, the vendors are definitely committed to their craft! If you’re a lover of Halloween, horror, or gothic-themed goods, this was the spot to add to your collection! Even if you weren’t buying, it was fun to browse through the creepy curiosities.

The 100% vegan food vendors made it something special, cruelty-free bites in a unique setting! From yummy crepes to BBQ madness burgers, the variety was impressive. It was refreshing to be in a space where every food choice was vegan friendly without having to double check ingredients or ask a million questions. There was a ton of seats but seating was limited during the 3 hour duration that I was present due to everyone enjoying the assortment of food options, a lot of the vendors even ran out of their more popular food items pretty early on.

Since it was an animal friendly event, there was a ton of dogs some of which had cute costumes, a cockatoo and even a scaly reptile… a python!

The music added an extra layer of fun, keeping the energy up and the aesthetic consistent! I can see them making this into an even larger event, what a wonderful idea this was!
