[EVENT REVIEW] Mad Monster Party Glendale, Arizona
Mad Monster Party in Glendale, Arizona, was a weekend full of Q&As, meet and greets, killer photo-ops, spooktacular vendors, and most of all, fun times and lasting memories! This year, Mad Monster Party in Arizona featured iconic celebrity guests like Robert Englund, David Arquette, Linda Blair, Brad Dourif, Kane Hodder, Fiona Dourif, and more.
With Robert and Ken there, it was obvious that a Freddy VS Jason photo-op had to be done, so there was an in-costume and out-of-costume photo-op offered. For the in-costume picture, Ken was in the whole Jason Voorhees get-up! We were so excited when this photo-op was announced, and we absolutely loved how it turned out!
If you’re an A Nightmare on Elm Street fan, Mad Monster Party AZ was the place to be! They not only had Robert Englund as a guest, but they also had Ronne Blakley, Brooke Bundy, Toy Newkirk, Brooke Theiss, and Amanda Wyss.
The vendors, as always, did not disappoint with their killer products! Sinister Studios AZ created special “Dewey Does It For Me” tees and totes for this convention, as David Arquette was there.
The Spooky Olive also created a piece just for the convention, a huge Freddy VS Jason plushie that “reenacted” the end scene of the film. All of the vendors set up at the con were super sweet and had the most amazing pieces to choose from. We ended up purchasing from quite a few of them, some of which included Sinflower Kisses, Kitten Karnage, Arizonado Designs, and Warlord Clothing.
As R.I.P. guests, we got early access to the con, front row seating during the panels, front of the line access for meet and greets, a killer swag bag with an exclusive R.I.P. shirt and event poster, and we get to chill in a spooktacular room with drinks and snacks during the whole weekend.
There was also a R.I.P. party on Saturday after the con with drinks, music, fun, and even some celebs! We rocked out to the killer band A Nightmare on 80s Street while chatting with iconic final girl Adrienne King from the original Friday the 13th, which was a horror-lover's dream.
To sum up, there is no party like a Mad Monster Party!
