Fear Factory’s 2024 Season Adds New, Terrifying Storylines Designed to Horrify and Create Mayhem

On Friday, September 6, 2024 Fear Factory, Salt Lake City’s only truly haunted attraction will open its 2024 season with an expanded, in depth storyline designed to place fans in situations that require them to meet their biggest fears and phobias head on in an effort to survive what has consistently been named one of the scariest haunted houses in the United States.
Fear Factory’s 2024 season includes a special Friday the 13th event on Friday, September 13, 2024.
“Last year we debuted a new storyline that takes fans through our 12 themed zones where they are forced to face their biggest fears in a high intensity show,” said Rob Dunfield, Fear Factory Co-Founder and COO. “Our fans loved the storyline and this year, with input from our fans, we’re adding new stories and themes that will undoubtedly cause even more shock and awe.”
Fear Factory’s 2024 Halloween season opens on Friday, September 6, 2024 and will be open on Friday and Saturday through September 28. Fear Factory will expand its hours beginning Thursday, October 3 through Sunday, October 6, 2024. On October 9, 2024 Fear Factory will be open Wednesday through Sunday. Beginning October 23 Fear Factory will be open nightly through Halloween night. On Friday November 1 and Saturday, November 2, 2024, Fear Factory will open for the final time in 2024 for its annual blackout blowout where all the house lights are killed and fans go through with a single finger light.
New to Fear Factory in 2024 are high tech mechanics in the factory’s two six-story towers, two new photo ops in Fear Factory’s first of its kind selfie stations, new character masks, weapons and costumes all designed by Fear Factory’s award winning artists and makeup experts. Guests can also have up close and personal access to magicians, food trucks and monsters that roam the property scaring and delighting fans before they even enter the haunt.
Fear Factory is consistently recognized nationally as one of the scariest haunted houses in the country. Every aspect of the Fear Factory elicits dread, including the very ground it rests on. Fear Factory is located on the site of the old Portland Cement Company that has a long history of paranormal activity, unexplained sightings and unfortunate accidents dating back to 1894 that led many to believe the site was cursed.
