Nightmare Rising is offering a new type of haunted house experience

Camp Coffin Creek is 12 hours of immersive overnight horror on 400 acres in the Inland Empire. The idea sparked from Coffin Creek, a haunt that ran from 2007 to 2025. Gary Shireman was the founder and operator of Coffin Creek until his passing in late 2025. He was a horror staple for the Inland Empire and his legacy continues to live on.

For 4 nights in August, you can either become a monster or run around the haunt trying to survive the night…

There are 4 ticket options you can choose from:

Camp Coffin Creek - Single Camper

You came alone. That was your first mistake.

The Single Camper Package is your entry into Camp Coffin Creek — 12 hours of immersive overnight horror on 400 acres in the Inland Empire. One guest. One night. One question: will you make it to sunrise?

  • What's included:

    • Single-occupancy tent rental

    • Camp Coffin Creek T-shirt

    • Zombie Survival Fight (CDC sweep, clear and find the cure before you become infected)

    • Zombie Survival Flight (navigate the sewer system to the safe zone — don't lose your flags)

    • Alone in the Woods (deep woods survival — dangers both real and imaginary)

    • Horror camp games: blood tag, tug of war, hide and seek

    • Camp-wide scavenger hunt (2:15AM–4:30AM)

    • Special effects makeup demo

    • Pumpkin carving class

    • Make your own s'mores

    • Classic horror movies on a 25-foot outdoor screen (8:30PM–6AM)

Camp Coffin Creek — Two Camper Package

Two can survive longer than one. Probably.

Bring someone brave. Or someone you don't mind losing. The Two Camper Package includes everything in the Single package — for two guests sharing one tent.

  • What’s included:

    • Two-person tent rental

    • 2 Camp Coffin Creek T-shirts

    • Full access to all three haunted attractions: Zombie Survival Fight, Zombie Survival Flight, and Alone in the Woods

    • All horror camp games, scavenger hunt, activities, and movies

    • Everything in the General Admission package — for two

Camp Coffin Creek — Squad Package (4 Campers)

Four survivors. One tent. One night to make it out together.

The Squad Package is Camp Coffin Creek's best per-person value — $95 per camper for the full 12-hour overnight horror experience. Four guests, one four-person tent, four T-shirts, and everything that comes with General Admission.

  • What’s included:

    • Four-person tent rental

    • 4 Camp Coffin Creek T-shirts

    • Full access to all three haunted attractions for all four guests

    • All horror camp games, scavenger hunt, activities, and movies

Trust your squad. The woods are full of things that don't.

Camp Coffin Creek — RIP Package (The Monster Division)

You didn't just survive Camp Coffin Creek. You became it.

The RIP Package is the ultimate Camp Coffin Creek experience — and the only overnight horror event in Southern California where guests become part of the cast. Professional horror makeup and costuming transforms you into one of the monsters. For part of the night, you are what everyone else is running from.

  • What's included:

    • RIP parking (premium lot)

    • Private deluxe tent in the exclusive RIP camping area

    • Weapons upgrade (automatic assault weapon for Fight attraction and CDC sweep and clear)

    • 10% discount at all onsite vendors all night

    • Professional horror makeup and costuming — become one of the monsters

    • Full access to all three haunted attractions

    • All horror camp games, scavenger hunt, activities, and movies

    • Everything in General Admission — and then some

Limited availability. The Monster Division has a finite number of slots per night. Once they're gone, they're gone.

This is the most immersive ticket at Camp Coffin Creek. You are not watching the horror. You are the horror.

Camp Coffin Creek runs from August 21, 22, 28, 29 — 7PM to 7AM

Location: 8900 McCarty Rd, Chino, CA 91710

Check-in deadline: 10:30PM
