Mad Monster Party Glendale, Arizona 2026

Mad Monster Party in Glendale, Arizona, was a killer weekend filled with celebrity meets, killer photo-ops, terror-ific vendors, a costume contest, R.I.P. after-parties, and much, much more... Mad Monster Party Arizona 2026 brought the heat!

This 3-day convention offered a jam-packed weekend full of reunion and in-costume pro photo-ops, Q&A panels, autographs from your favorite celebs, and other events throughout the day and through the night for those special R.I.P. ticket holders. We got our Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives duo photo-op with Thom Mathews and C.J. Graham on Friday night. Saturday, we met Trick ‘r Treat’s Sam, Quinn Lord, and Sunday, we met legendary Saw icon Shawnee Smith.

We have to share a special highlight when meeting the wonderful Shawnee Smith. The daughter-half of The AZ Spooky Boos is a dancer and shared this with Shawnee after hearing at her panel that she started as a professional dancer. Shawnee was so amazed that her specialty was tap, and after signing the autograph and taking pictures, she decided to tap dance with our “little” Boo! It was truly one of the best experiences and one we will never forget.

All the celebs were so amazing, so super sweet, and fun to meet, but... we can’t forget the fangtastic vendors who create such unique, one-of-a-kind items to add to your collection. We made some spooktacular purchases from Apotha Candy, CrystaLee Craftworks, Cult Creep, Dark Moon Clay, Dark Star Boutique AZ, Dirty Teacup Designs, DJ 700 Tapes, Hauntingly Yours Xoxo, Kates Comic Geekery, Sunflower Kisses, Sinister Studios AZ, Spooka and Glitter Boo-tique, The Spooky Olive, and Twilight Leggings.

Our vendor spotlights were The Spooky Olive, because the daughter-half of the Boos' favorite purchase was her Boogie Boys set, and DJ 700 Tapes, because the mother-half of the Boos’ favorite purchase was her Obsession shirt. We also purchased two books by author David Gordon and can’t wait to give them a read. Also, a special shout-out to Sinsiter Studios AZ for designing special-event 3D acrylics to have signed by the celebs at the event. You could either purchase the design at their booth, or the specially made design being sold at the celeb's table. Either way, you would have a unique way to display and share your favorite actors' and/or musicians' signatures.

To sum up our weekend...There’s no party like a Mad Monster Party!

The AZ Spooky Boos

We are The AZ Spooky Boos, a mother-daughter duo who love all things spooky, horror,

Halloween, and more! We mainly cover events in Arizona, but we also venture out to California,

Nevada, and even Kentucky, to enjoy conventions and meet new celebs. Not only do we go to

horror cons, but we also go to in-store signings, local markets, fun weekend events, early movie

screenings, and whatever else may come our way. We became part of the AZ Horror Community

in 2018 after our first-ever convention, and now, years later, we're running a social media

account covering the events. Though we just started our social media journey a little over a year

ago, we have fully embraced being part of the media coverage side and are always up for

attending new events that welcome us. We started as attendees, and now we are covering cons,

markets, and other events for ourselves and Local Haunts!
