Phoenix partied the night away at Horror Homecoming

Horror Homecoming: Spook-Tacular Lip Sync Battle, hosted by Return of the Giving Dead at PMD Studios in Phoenix, Arizona, was a night to remember! AZ horror fans showed up, and showed out for this terror-ific event that was benefiting the Trans Spectrum of Arizona. There were ten outstanding lip sync performances done, as well as three dance performances.

The vendors, as always, were absolutely wonderful, and we couldn’t help but make a few purchases while we were spinning on the dance floor. We got some deliciously scented spritzes from Apotha Candy, some amazing jewelry from The Magick Garden Shoppe, a cute coffin ring and a necklace from The Haunted Heart, and the most adorable little bat from Lisspy Artist.

If you had a craving for mocktails or tacos while tearing up the dance floor, there were tacos outside available to purchase from Last Ride Tacos, and mocktails inside from The Twisted Botanist. Looking for a fun way to have memorabilia from the event besides just taking pictures? The Art of Austin Ackert was set up in the hallway, doing zombie caricature drawings. In the mood to get a new tattoo? Ride the Voltage Tattoos was set up in the main party room, ready to mark you with some new killer ink.

And, of course, it's not a homecoming dance without a boutonniere or corsage, so to complete your homecoming fit for the night, This Shit is Bomb was selling some creepy-cute boutonnieres, corsages, and mini flower bouquets featuring spiders, snakes, eyeballs, flies, and more. In the end, this event really did have it all, and it supported and went towards a good cause. We hope that Return of the Giving Dead will host another little gathering/party like this in the future...Till then, cheers to a good night full of fun, friends, and sore feet-LOL!

The AZ Spooky Boos

We are The AZ Spooky Boos, a mother-daughter duo who love all things spooky, horror,

Halloween, and more! We mainly cover events in Arizona, but we also venture out to California,

Nevada, and even Kentucky, to enjoy conventions and meet new celebs. Not only do we go to

horror cons, but we also go to in-store signings, local markets, fun weekend events, early movie

screenings, and whatever else may come our way. We became part of the AZ Horror Community

in 2018 after our first-ever convention, and now, years later, we're running a social media

account covering the events. Though we just started our social media journey a little over a year

ago, we have fully embraced being part of the media coverage side and are always up for

attending new events that welcome us. We started as attendees, and now we are covering cons,

markets, and other events for ourselves and Local Haunts!
