Artists Assemble Horror Fest, Tempe 2025

Artists Assemble Horror Fest in Tempe, Arizona, was an absolute blast to attend! This small local Arizona horror con is not one to miss. Although this convention is only on its 4th year, it is well-established and features fun celebrity guests to meet and amazing vendors to shop from. Horror Fest offers after-hours events made for all ages to attend and enjoy.

This year, they hosted a “Drink Up Witches!” after-hours mixer in the hotel lounge, featuring horror Pictionary, on Friday night. Saturday night, a Retro Halloween Party was hosted by Cinesylum, where both kids and adults could dress to impress for the chance to win a prize for the best costume.

Then, all day at the con on Sunday, kids 12 and under got in free with a paid adult admission pass, allowing them to wear a costume and trick-or-treat from the vendors and celebrities.

Some of Horror Fest’s guests included Scout Taylor Compton, Julian Richings, Oliver Robbins, April Telek, and Alex Zahara. April and Alex were some last-minute replacement guests, but they caught the attention of the Final Destination franchise fans!

The vendors, as always, were the best and had a wide range of fantastic products to choose from. We made purchases from Dark Star Boutique, Twilight Leggings, Sinister Studios AZ, Hauntingly Yours Xoxo, Arizona Do Designs, Chris Rybski Art, The Crazy Horror Lady, The Haunted Knot, Knots n Fables, Olive Noon Art, Sinflower Kisses, Sinister Spinster, Spooks and Glitter Bootique, and Vanessa’s Yarntique.

The AZ Spooky Boos

We are The AZ Spooky Boos, a mother-daughter duo who love all things spooky, horror,

Halloween, and more! We mainly cover events in Arizona, but we also venture out to California,

Nevada, and even Kentucky, to enjoy conventions and meet new celebs. Not only do we go to

horror cons, but we also go to in-store signings, local markets, fun weekend events, early movie

screenings, and whatever else may come our way. We became part of the AZ Horror Community

in 2018 after our first-ever convention, and now, years later, we're running a social media

account covering the events. Though we just started our social media journey a little over a year

ago, we have fully embraced being part of the media coverage side and are always up for

attending new events that welcome us. We started as attendees, and now we are covering cons,

markets, and other events for ourselves and Local Haunts!
