Summer of SweetDreams, Mesa 2025 [MARKET REVIEW]

The Summer of Sweet Dreams market, hosted by The Creative Funhouse, was everything you’ve ever dreamed of! Food trucks, local vendors, a photobooth, and all of the amazing AZ horror fans...This local market had it all!

Before the market had even started, there was a line at the door waiting to get in to check out all of the killer vendors inside, and the food trucks outside were already making sales. There were so many spooktacular vendors to shop from, and we, of course, did some shopping. We not only got some terror-ific soaps from Motley Soaps, but we also got some spooky-cute shirts from the other part of the “company,” Motley Mind Designs.

We also made purchases from Dark Moon Clay, Made by Macabre, Moonlit Child Studios, Moon Wood and Crystal, Outta Town Pop, and The Winey Hooker. To end our night at the market, we decided to take a trip to the photobooth, which was so much fun with the props, and you got to choose your print border design. After pictures, we also needed a little sweet treat before heading out, so we stopped by Sugar Punx for some cotton candy. We had an amazing time attending this month’s Creative Funhouse market, and can’t wait for next month’s “It’s Show Time: A Night Market for the Ghosts with the Most” on September 20th from 6pm-10pm, located at Williamsfield High School in the main parking lot!

The AZ Spooky Boos

We are The AZ Spooky Boos, a mother-daughter duo who love all things spooky, horror,

Halloween, and more! We mainly cover events in Arizona, but we also venture out to California,

Nevada, and even Kentucky, to enjoy conventions and meet new celebs. Not only do we go to

horror cons, but we also go to in-store signings, local markets, fun weekend events, early movie

screenings, and whatever else may come our way. We became part of the AZ Horror Community

in 2018 after our first-ever convention, and now, years later, we're running a social media

account covering the events. Though we just started our social media journey a little over a year

ago, we have fully embraced being part of the media coverage side and are always up for

attending new events that welcome us. We started as attendees, and now we are covering cons,

markets, and other events for ourselves and Local Haunts!
