The boogeyman lives in North Carolina, and his name is Kenny

The Myers House 

This past weekend I had the opportunity to visit the Myers House! This is a real life replica of the actual film location from Halloween! Every little detail on the outside of the home has been recreated to the best of the owners ability, it was truly a spectacular feat to see. Owner, Kenny is incredibly knowledgeable on all things horror and we had the most fun picking his brain on some of our favorite horror movie franchises.

When Kenny was 26 he had a dream. His one dream was to live in the Myers home. I have never heard a story of someone doing more to make their dream possible in this context than Kenny! He spent months planning this, tirelessly putting together blueprints that didn’t even exist for a home that was never actually meant to be lived in. And the Myers house stands today as a marvel of its kind. The place is a mystery see for horror fans! 

The Myers House is a private residence so tickets are required to enter the property. Kenny runs various tours throughout the year, but that’s is not all! He also has built a mini drive in theater in his own yard where he shows some of your favorite films year round! The night we went there was a showing on ‘Final Destination 1 & 2’ which we unfortunately could not stay for.
