The Inland Empire’s BIGGEST horror convention is coming back for year 5!
How have 5 years flown by already? It feels like Creep I.E. Con just got started with the first ever Creep I.E. and now we’re going to be celebrating their 5th year with some insane celebrity reunions, new activations, photo-ops, local haunts, yes we’ll be there too hehe, tattoo artists, a comic and record room, panels and some more surprises we can’t share with y’all, but trust me, it will be worth the trip.
Since we’ve attended every single Creep I.E. since year 1, we have a lot to be thankful for. Creep I.E was our first ever event we covered under the Local Haunts name, and it’s been an honor to see this con grow into the behemoth it’s become. This year, being their 5th anniversary, they pulled out all the stops and are bringing some of your favorite celebrities to meet! The afterparty will have special guests Emily Kinney performing LIVE, and Robert Englund will be raffling off 5 autographs to those who attend the after party.
The big 3 celebs for the weekend are Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger), Cassandra Peterson ( Elvira), and Keifer Sutherland (The Lost Boys). And that’s just the headliners. You can expect even MORE celebs to meet throughout the weekend, including Jonathan Breck IN COSTUME PHOTO-OP FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! Lou Diamond Phillips, Jaime Pressly, Christopher Lloyd, and Tom Wilson from Back to the Future! But worry not, Brian and Nick always have some tricks up their sleeves and have plenty more celebs to announce before the big day.
If you’re not a celebrity person and would rather enjoy the convention and shop till you drop, then you can wander the 200,000 sq ft show floor with over 100 vendors for everything your spooky heart can handle. The photo-ops room will be hosted by our friends Art’s Sideshow, who have been part of the event since year 2 and have brought some of the most iconic characters to life! Who knows who they will get for year 5.
Creep I.E. Records is a brand new experience this year, and they are teaming up with Driptone Records to bring a mini record shop to the Inland Empire! Browse through horror soundtracks, deep cut records, and limited edition albums that you won’t find anywhere else.
We would be remiss not to mention the heavy hitters returning to Creep I.E. Fear Farm, who is the official Haunt of the con, as well as the comics room where you can find horror comics, books, special guests, and signings throughout the weekend. Don’t forget about the panels with some of your favorite celebrities and podcast hosts, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting. Want to get another horror-themed tattoo? You can wander through Ink Alley and get something special to remember the weekend.
