Tim Curry dead at 80

Legendary film and television actor Tim Curry has passed away at the age of 80.

Curry – well known for his performances as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the Rocky Horror Picture Show and as Pennywise the Clown in Stephen King’s It – died Tuesday night at his Los Angeles home, according to TMZ.

The cause of death is not currently available. Health issues had significantly slowed Curry down since suffering a major stroke in 2012.

Curry received three Tony nominations and an Emmy bid over his decades long career.
