The latest ´Paranormal Activity´ film is being released in 2027

It’s never boring when you’re a ghost fan, and we know that Hollywood is filled with them.

Coming out of the haunted Paramount Studios is the ghastly return of the ‘Paranormal Activity’ franchise. The film will be produced by horror legends James Wan, Oren Peli, and Jason Blum.

James Wan exclaimed his love for the series in an interview with THR, “I’ve been a huge admirer of Paranormal Activity since the brilliant first movie, with its creeping slow burn and subtle ability to make the unseen terrifying.” Saying what all fans appreciate about this cult classic.

According to Wan, he’s “looking forward to expanding on its legacy and helping shape the next evolution of this scary found-footage franchise.”

This is spectacular news for a franchise that blew audiences away in 2007. Will it return to its found footage roots or maybe back to Oxnard? What we do know is that Ian Tuason, who also directed the upcoming film ‘Undertone’ will direct with a release date of May 21, 2027.
