A new queer horror play, ‘Be Not Afraid’ will debut this June!
Local theater is becoming more prominent within the horror space, and we’re lucky enough to share with you some of our findings, especially when the play is done with love and a low budget. Please support your local theater when possible and keep creating!
“When a terminally ill queer man is visited by a supernatural being, he's given an offer that could change his life… but is he willing to pay the cost?”
Written and directed by Carlos Cameron (Play Things), he is debuting a brand new show called ‘Be Not Afraid’, and while this is only Carlos's second show, he’s showing plenty of promise within the horror space.
The cast consists of Evan Michael Ewing, Gil Dolet, Mateen Bizar, Imani Alis & Ricky Mike.
The show runs from June 19th-21st at The Victory Theater Center in Burbank, and tickets are $20 a person or $40 if you’d like to pay it forward and help the theater and Carlos create more queer media!
