Stage Fright Festival has announced their full line-up for this years show
Stage Fright Theater in Portland, Oregon, held a fundraiser show back in July to raise money for the upcoming Stage Fright Festival happening October 8th through the 18th.
The festival lineup is chock-full of local talent like Frank and Friends, Basement Stair Collective, Ingrid Garner, The Cohort, Sean Kirkpatrick, SAC(k), Piper Francis, and so many more!
To kick off Thursday evening, Frank, the world’s most entertaining entertainer, and his eccentric roommates will lead everyone with a round of queer trivia.
October 16th-18th: Hollywood Horror Story by: Ingrid Garner
A true Cinderella-meets-Frankenstein tale, she stitches together a creature from her dark idols: the Evil Queen in “Snow White”, Norma Desmond in “Sunset Boulevard” and the pin-up models of BDSM magazines. During Hollywood’s most pivotal year, Vampira satirizes the ideals of 50s femininity while orbited by the likes of James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando, Liberace, Orson Welles, Elvis Presley and Anthony Perkins.
October 10th, 15th, & 18th: My Gay Grandfather Was Abducted by Aliens, and Other True Stories by: Sean Kirkpatrick
Come join a support group for alien abductees, and hear their incredible but true encounters with extra-terrestrials. You’ll hear tales of government experiments, campfire invasions, missing grandfathers, and maybe even a musical number. See the show audiences called “inventive,” “clever,” “funny,” and “I didn’t think it would make me cry.”
October 9th, 17th & 18th: Milk Tooth Wisdom Tooth by: Basement Stair Collective
Milk Tooth Wisdom Tooth is a grim fable with music exploring fear of aging, loss of control, and vulnerability — through teeth.
