All Saints Lunatics Asylum runs special Friday the 13th haunt

All Saint’s Lunatics Asylum let the Halloween spirits out early with a one night only run of their haunt for one of the unluckiest days of the year, Friday the 13th! This production came packed with additional entertainment from local vendors from the High Desert area and even brought a celebrity signing with Douglas Tait (Freddy Vs. Jason, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, Halloween Kills).

The haunt began with a dark queue playing spooky vintage cartoons. Various ghouls, such as deranged nurses and patients, roamed the queue to keep us on our toes as well. After a few minutes of spine-tingling anticipation, we were shuttled into the lobby which has items that the haunt received in auction from foreclosed asylums and collectors.

Although no photography was allowed inside the attraction, it had all the best trademarks of a haunted house! The set pieces were extremely detailed and were accompanied with sections of low visibility and moody lighting that made me nervous to take the step into the next room. The actors utilized this perfectly and gave a few really good scares and maintained interactions so relentless and personalized that it felt like I had stepped into the trope of asylum horror movies. There were butchers, patients, cultists, and much more that appealed to every type of fear!

All Saints Lunatics Asylum really brought it in with their Friday the 13th celebration by giving us a taste of the 2026 haunt season early! There was much to see and do for their event from food, clothes, and even a celebrity signing.

Be sure to visit All Saints Lunatics Asylum for their future haunts that are hosted throughout the year, such as Rotten Egg Hunt on March 27-29.
