Blair Witch coming to Six Flags Great America and Dorney Park
Something has been hiding in the woods, and it’s arriving at Six Flags.
The Blair Witch is getting a maze titled Blair Witch: No Signal for the 2026 Halloween season at Six Flags Great America’s Fright Fest in Gurnee, Illinois and Dorney Park’s Halloween Haunt in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The title is a reference to the series’ found footage premise about amateur filmmakers lost in the woods during their investigation of the Blair Witch.
The maze design details have not been announced. These two IP-focused mazes will run under different horror brands owned by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation due to the merger between Cedar Fair and Six Flags Entertainment back in July 2024.
The Dorney Park’s Halloween Haunt runs Sept. 18 through Oct. 31 for select nights, while Six Flags Great America’s Fright Fest operates from Sept. 19 through Nov. 1. Both parks’ events occur on select nights..
The Blair Witch Project debuted in 1999 by director Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez. Audience’s obsession with the film helped it gross nearly $250 million during its worldwide run on a budget of around $60,000. It's credited with popularizing the found footage genre inside modern horror. It continued to add other entries into its legacy with Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 (2000) and Blair Witch (2026).
Lionsgate is the rights owner for theatrical releases of the IP. They plan to team up with Blumhouse to create a new entry directed by Dylan Clark and written by Chris ThomasDevlin, set to release on Sept. 24, 2027. Original directors Myrick and Sanchez are attached to the project along with the original cast from the first movie in the role of producers.
Blair Witch: No Signal has not been confirmed by Six Flags to be connected to the new movie.
