First look at Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees for Peacock ‘Crystal Lake’
Yesterday morning, EW gave us our first look at Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees, and Friday fans are going to be very excited because we also have a teaser trailer!

Linda is no stranger to the horror genre and has been a lifelong horror fan, although she’s only starred in ‘The Curse of La Llorona’ (2019); that hasn’t stopped her from wanting to be in horror movies.
“I was one of the only girls who really loved scary movies when I was younger, and girls were not as much into it,” the actress recalls in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “So it would scare everybody and they would have a hard time sleeping, but it was really fun.”
Crystal Lake begins with the circumstances around that drowning and follows from there Pam’s descent into madness.
This will be set as a prequel before Jason’s demise at the titular lake, and showrunner Brad Caleb Kane, who is a fan of the series, is spearheading the project. He also worked on ‘IT: Welcome to Derry ’, so there should be no worry about whether or not the show will have what it takes to bring fans to this new series.
‘Crystal Lake’ premiere date is Thursday, October 15th, only on Peacock.
