Glendale’s own Nocturne Theatre debuts a new show ‘The Eaves’
Horror theater has become more prominent in the past few decades, with productions like Scream’d, Saw: The Musical, and Dracula: The Musical, to name a few.
The Nocturne Theater who is known for some prolific theater, is debuting a brand new show called ‘The Eaves’. You follow a paranormal investigator who helps a grieving mother trying to confront an entity stalking her home. But there is more to the story than just that…
This new, haunting stage-play is written and directed by Nocturne Theatre co-owner Justin Meyer (Madam Scrooge, Frankenstein: Resurrection, Haunted Soiree).
In the tradition of ghostly works like The Woman In Black, Ghost Stories and Paranormal Activity, The Eaves is designed as an intimate atmospheric horror play. This show takes place on the LaBranche Stage, one of the upstairs performance spaces at The Nocturne Theatre.
The Eaves explores the unsettling idea that the past never truly disappears; our homes remember us; and our decisions linger. This play asks what it means to confront the shadows we carry—and whether facing them might be the only way to escape them.
Warning: The play includes themes involving, grief and loss, unresolved family trauma, psychological distress, supernatural phenomena, moments of suspense and horror. No graphic violence occurs onstage, but the emotional themes are intense.
The show runs until May 24th, and tickets are running VERY low.
The Nocturne Theater is located at 324 North Orange Street, Glendale, CA 91203
