Japanese Horror film, ‘The Invisible Half’ will make its North American debut

From Cleopatra Venom comes the North American release of ‘The Invisible Half’ on DVD and Digital with both English Dub and the original Japanese language.

Elena Takahashi (Lisa Siera) has a hard time assimilating at her new school in Japan. She is bullied and ostracized because she’s “hafu,” meaning half-Japanese and half-British. The situation goes from bad to worse when she discovers that an unseen malevolent being is stalking her, but not in the usual way.

The spirit can only be seen through the camera lens of her smartphone and heard via her earphones. Will anyone else believe her?

The Invisible Half blends the harsh reality of students being alienated by their classmates with the fear of ghostly entities haunting a creepy school. Writer/director Masaki Nishiyama delivers J-horror scares while exploring bullying, isolation, and prejudice through a supernatural high school nightmare.

For fans of cult Japanese horror classics like The Ring (Ringu), Dark Water, and more!

‘The Invisible Half’ will be released on November 10th from MVD Entertainment.
