Paul Giamatti returns to horror in upcoming film

Paul Giamatti is joining the cast of upcoming horror movie Boutique. It will be his first horror movie in decades since Morgan (2016).

Giamatti will star as Calvin, an American tourist who ventures to an eerie English seaside town that inspired his favorite reclusive author’s work, but finds a murderous secret infecting the town.

“I’m crazy excited to be a part of this project and for Touchy Feely to be working with XYZ Films. Scary, funny, bizarre, strangely moving, it’s one of the best scripts I’ve ever read by one of the most talented guys I know, Jim Gavin!” said Giamatti.

Filming started this summer with Jim Gavin (Lodge 49) hired to write and direct the project. This will be Gavin’s feature film directorial debut. Dan Carey will produce along with Paul Giamatti through their company, Touchy Feely Films. XYZ Films will finance the project.
