Castle Dark is bringing us new shows, mazes, and food for 2024!

The Castle Dark panel at Midsummer Scream not only had a packed room filled with hungry horror fans waiting for the news but they also invited some special guests who are new to this years Haunt…

We have Tea Time Lady Lou where you can hear the latest gossip going on in the kingdom and she will spill the tea! In the big top you can meet Countess Elura who is the new Queen of Castle Dark and last but certainly not least is the Sliders of the Kingdom a show where the Knights will be facing the Clowns. Who will win the battle? You’ll have to visit to find out.

The best part about going to haunts during spooky season is of course the merch and FOOD! Also new for this year Castle Dark gave us a sneak peak at the new Hoodies that feature some ghouls from years past and our newcomers. There’s still plenty of merch to come and I’m excited to see what else they’ll have for us. Now onto the tasting card which is brand new for Castle Dark. Starting September 20th you can pick up a tasting card that includes brand new food items and a big ticket item for this year is Alcohol! This will be the first year Castle Dark is offering alcohol to guests.

We of course saved the best for last, the mazes! This year there will be 3 BRAND NEW mazes coming to Castle Dark!

Fun House of the Demented will be a clown maze where the clowns have escaped and are wreaking havoc on the poor people of the kingdom. Will you make it out alive?

Next up is Seance where you will (optional) get to use a ouija board to talk to the spirits with a very special Witch who made her debut at Midsummer Scream and I can safely say, you don’t want to get on her bad side

The final new maze is Labyrinth which will be the biggest maze Castle Dark has ever had and not only that, but you can expect to become lost while trying to find your way out. Each room looks the same but only will let you escape. Good luck!

Also new this year is Sinister Inn a VR experience where you venture into the inn and come face to face with monsters galore, are you brave enough to face your fears? Find out only at Castle Dark.

There’s still plenty of secrets to be revealed so keep an eye on their socials for up to date announcements. Castle Dark opens Sept. 20th in Riverside, California.
