San Antonio horror fans - the time has come!
As we wrap up our 3rd year of our Kings of Horror journey, we’re proud to announce KOH CONVENTION 2025 is coming your way this spring. This will be our first full scale convention. We will be utilizing all halls and rooms in the venue along with outdoor activations as well.
The KOH Convention will include various panels, VIP Packages featuring early access to our exhibitor floor & guests, two amazing afterparties on-site, pop-up screenings, professional photo-ops and more.
There will be 18-20 celebrity guests with 4-5 headliners focused on all generations of horror, new and old. We’ve slowly begun rolling out our guest lineup that already features stars from the Twilight saga, Thanksgiving, The Lost Boys, Tremors and more surprises coming your way throughout the next few weeks.

Entrepreneurs Roy and Lisa Rose have a great desire to bring the fans of Horror and Cult Classics together in a friendly environment to experience all forms of different cult genres including Art, Collectibles, Props, and Celebrity Guests.

Texas Frightmare Weekend began in 2006. The event was held at the Hyatt Regency DFW airport from 2012 to 2022. As of 2023, the event is held at the Irving Convention Center. The main convention space took place in two large ballrooms where guests and vendors had tables set up, much like a marketplace. The main convention area consisted of the guests, vendors selling horror themed merchandise, fans sporting horror cosplay costumes, and other attractions that the convention may have that given year, such as props from movies.

The Texas Haunters Convention™ is a cash and carry style two day Halloween convention targeting Halloween and cosplay fans.
It is geared towards haunt owners, industry professionals, home haunters, families, trick or treaters, and just anyone who loves the Halloween season. It is open to the public!
In addition to accessing the convention floor to take advantage of our exhibitor offerings, attendees will be able to participate in demonstrations, classes, make n’ takes, and other events.
We want to make sure you enjoy the convention as much as we have enjoyed putting it together for you.
