[HAUNT REVIEW] Hall of Shadows

The Hall of Shadows entrance was helmed by my friends at Fear Farm and they gave us a real treat! “Guests will enter the Hall of Shadows through a dilapidated ghost town, created by the unstoppable team at Fear Farm. In this boomtown-gone-bust, spirits and legends of the Old West abound, setting the stage perfectly for what lies ahead, beyond its borders…”

Fear Farm is based in Phelan, California but this year they relocated to Corona, California in collaboration with Keys2Fear Productions.

The entrance to The Hall of Shadows is not an easy feat and you have to commend haunters who take this on. The Old West theme is a taste of what Fear Farm is capable of and they make sure no detail goes unnoticed. Visiting their haunt last year in Phelan after a wind storm destroyed all of their builds that didn’t stop them and they built a brand new haunt in 3 months with what they could. That’s a true testament to how hard Rix works to make haunt season special for everyone.

Lionsgate and Plague Productions teamed up to create ‘GEARS OF FEAR' a haunt that would have you screaming for more! You were greeted by two horror icons Sack Head and Billy the puppet but that was just the beginning…

‘Saw’ is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary and they brought some fun props to showcase in the haunt entrance like the reverse bear trap, sketches from John Kramer, the shotgun necklace and of course a pig mask henchman. The Strangers were hiding in the shadows, costumes from ‘THE CROW’ and the latest movie ‘NEVER LET GO’ had it’s own section in the haunt as well. This mash-up was an incredible way to showcase their favorite horror movies!

The Dreich Society went on a hunt with Scooby and the Gang and those meddling kids were taking a break during our walk-through but I’m sure they found some scary ghosts on the way back ;)

SANTA ANA Haunt aren’t strangers to the Hall of Shadows and this year they decided to add something extra to their haunt. A BAR! But first you had to walk through long treacherous hallways to get to your liquid courage and it was well worth it.

Our last stop in the Hall of Shadows was The Real Sideshow done by our friends Art’s Sideshow & Real Pizza Planet Truck where mayhem and chaos have ensued and the pizza planet gang have to find their way out of this house of mysteries
