[EVENT REVIEW] This is Halloween

Camarillo is home to Deadly Sweet who hosted their first annual THIS IS HALLOWEEN event. Now, I may be biased because they are friends of mine but with complete honesty I can say that this was nothing short of a damn good time! They curated over 60 vendors, food trucks, photo-ops, a walkthrough haunt all while still selling out of their baked goods and hosting trivia with their spooky ghost host Mr. He Slasher! The parking lot of Bulldog Liquidators Camarillo which hosted all of the guests, vendors, and food trucks. When I spoke to Chelsea of Deadly Sweet she told me there were over 2,000 tickets registered (the event was free) and more people were signing up and showing up! The 2 hour drive for myself was killer but I’m glad I made the trek out there because not only did I want to support my friends but I wanted to see how they would pull off such a huge event for their first time. They’ve vended at events for the past 2-3 years now and all that work surely paid off because this was without a hitch! I don’t know the final head count but it must’ve been over 3,000 by the time I left. They are planning on making this a yearly tradition so if you’re in the area or want to make the drive out I highly recommend joining me next year :)
